just play and have fun. When you find a good gold making plan, it will be nerfed on the next patch, so just enjoy and play on. Get to L70 and then look back at the fun you had.

Take up gathering professions like herbalism and mining. Do not do any creation professions as you have to invest to make money. Also you can work the AH on the "buy low sell high" premise. A couple of good moves there can be very profitable and you don't have to invest a ton of time.
